Omada, Noun. ομάδα • team, a group of people coming together with a purpose.
Mission
Reduce the environmental impact of underutilized office spaces, playing a key role in the decarbonization of the office sector and enhance productivity across New Zealand by providing inspiring, supportive work environments that use technology to harness the power of shared knowledge and skills across our community
Vision
To become the benchmark for coworking spaces in New Zealand, driving economic progress through exceptional workspace solutions and community building.
Purpose
We exist to support the transition to sustainable office buildings, by bridging the gap between the changing requirements of modern businesses and the traditional constraints of the commercial real estate industry.
OMADA, derived from the Greek word for 'team,' a collaborative venture between industry expert Pierre Ferrandon and Sudesh Jhunjhnuwala, the visionary behind Hind Management and Sudima Hotels.
The future of work at Omada integrates hospitality with innovative and flexible workspace design, offering a solution that reduces office costs while enhancing quality, boosting staff engagement, and increasing business productivity.
Pierre
Pierre, originally hailing from the picturesque South of France, spent his formative years split between France and Greece, where he enjoyed a unique upbringing aboard a yacht. His academic journey commenced with the study of astrophysics before he ventured into the world of business, earning his degree from the ESSEC, one of the world's top universities.
With over a decade of experience in the coworking industry spanning France, Australia, and New Zealand, Pierre has earned his reputation as a hands-on, accomplished leader.
His passion for the environment drives his mission to transform the way we use office space through flexibility and render possible the fast transformation of the current average office into future focused workspaces that uplift kiwi workers productivity.
Sudesh
Sudesh began his business career in Hong Kong, working for Sudima Group's design and OEM watch company. In 2001, he moved to New Zealand to oversee the group's property portfolio, which led to the acquisition of the group's first hotel and the creation of Hind Management and Sudima Hotels.
Today, Sudesh is a highly regarded leader in New Zealand's hotel and tourism industry. His hotel group has consistently been awarded employer of choice, demonstrating his expertise in creating places that foster employee engagement. Sudesh has served on the board of the Entrepreneurs Organisation and was part of Be. Accessible’s Fab 50 group of business leaders, who lead by example to create social change in New Zealand businesses and public spaces.
Sudesh holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the prestigious University of Southern California. His deep understanding of hospitality and workspace design now benefits Omada, where his vision helps create inspiring and productive environments that support both business success and personal growth.
